This is the worst apartment complex I've lived in so far. Maintenance requests routinely take over a month to be completed and, if you call and ask if it can be done sooner, you'll be told that it will be done tomorrow and then nothing ever happens. Their rent/management system is also terrible- I was charged a late fee for rent that I paid on time through their auto-pay system and had to notice the mistake myself and demand the money back. Management claimed they tried to contact me, including putting a notice on my door, but I had no missed calls, nothing in spam, and never saw anything on the door clip. Also, if they tried to contact me, why didn't they notice my account had a zero balance? I also didn't receive emails for two months, including a notice that they were towing all cars in certain lots to repave. Even the people who received the warning only got two days' notice so people who were out of town just got their cars towed. The staff wasn't able to help me get back on emails and were rude while I was (politely) trying to figure it out. The pool is closed regularly for "fecal incidences" (their words) and there is dog feces all over the grounds including on sidewalks and stairways. There have been two car-break ins and one home invasion in the apartment directly below me since I've lived here. The maintenance staff themselves are very competent but they are only two for the entire complex. The high-rated reviews I've seen seem to be mostly from people who have just moved it. I don't recommend living here.

I rent a studio and with utilities it was 1700 this month. A lot of people have dogs here yet there have been nearly no poop bags at the poop station since summer, but in May they always restocked them. The new color is terrible and doesn't match at all! The workers they hired left their Tupperware of food, bones, and trash for days here and I saw a mouse right outside my door! Parking is becoming tight! a lot of things were broken in my apartment when I first moved in and it took maintenance two months to come fix the clogs... The front door they couldn't fix nor the tub faucet! They just installed new smart locks and low and behold because my front door doesn't align perfectly to the wall the smart lock doesn't work it gets jammed unless I hold the door closed lol. I called the office but they haven't answered nor return my calls which is a mute point at this time. It sucks because I'm too busy working to really put in a work order for them to come. I like to be present because I have my pets here. I also once found my apartment door unlocked so I stopped using the smart lock app and just use the key now. Although the community seems clean and less crowded than others it's becoming louder more compact and there was an issue with the trash dumpsters overflowing for about 2 weeks! They charge so much for a studio it's kind of insane. since a lot of things did not work or weren't checked before I moved in. My dishwasher had the water turned off so I couldn't use it for months and I still haven't used it. the washer and dryer also stunk when I moved in and they just seem dirty in general. It always leaves my clothes stinky... I probably will not be renewing my lease here... the other thing is I had bugs constantly coming into my apartment until I decided to take care of the issue myself. It's ok but I definitely have seen it worsening past summer... The other issue is that the residents from arbour square come to arbour commons to walk their dogs on our side because we have the green space here.. this leads to more poop and yellow patches and use of our poop bags... maybe in the future making it gated that would also help the theft problem...

I actually love my apartment but if you're going to move here you should know that the maintenance crew and the management do not give one flying fig about you. I had a malfunctioning smoke alarm that was keeping me awake and the response was crickets. They absolutely could not care less how negatively this was affecting my life. Another time I could not get into my garage due to a malfunctioning opener and it took MORE THAN A MONTH for it to be fixed. When I reach out to management, I either get no reply at all or I get promises that are completely empty. One of the main perks of apartment life is not having to worry about maintenance needs and that is simply not true here.

Gus, Amanda, and Adrianna are all amazing people to work with and they have made this complex feel like home. All the neighbors are very nice and I have made so many genuine connections here. The facilities are nice and well taken care of, it is obvious that they put great care into the wellbeing of their residents. This is especially true because they know about my partner and I's horrible past with apartment renting. They helped us make sure we feel safe and comfortable when we were very nervous about moving into a new complex. Everyone here at the complex and in the area have also been super accepting of the LGBT community which has been very important for the safety of the little family that I am building with my partner. I will forever be grateful for the kindness that has been extended to us as well as the ability to exist with much less fear. Thank you to everyone who works at Arbour, you are amazing and so valued.
